Andrea Dance has been our Support Group leader since its inception in 2010. More information is available on our Support Group page as to locations and times.

Dance for PD

Louise Boyd

Louise Boyd, our Dance for PD Class Instructor, leads the Dance for PD every Wednesday at 12:00 Noon, in the NWI Parkinson Building newly renovated activities/exercise room. This weekly one hour class will leave you feeling good about yourself.  No dance experience is necessary...Just have fun!



Pat LeCompte is our wonderful licensed Yoga Instructor for the Parkinson's Yoga Class in the NWI Parkinson Building newly renovated activities/exercise room every Friday at 10:30 A.M. Join Pat and everyone for that relaxing one hour class...free of charge, of course!

Boxing Classes


Lori Plesha and Ed Krakoczki, our two Boxing Instructors, show off boxing moves on the new equipment at our newly renovated activities room. Lori's Boxing classes are held every Wednesday evening at 6:30 P.M., and Ed's Boxing classes are every Monday at 10:00 A.M.(starting March 11, 2019) in our activities room located in our NWI Parkinson Building at no charge for the participants. Call 219-237-2342 to register for Lori's or Ed's classes. You will enjoy the workout!

Elizabeth's in Highland


Elizabeth Woodbury re-opened her boutique in July of 2017.  It is located on the 1st level behind the atrium entrance in the NWI Parkinsons Building at 2927 Jewett Avenue in Highland.  ALL of the profits from clothing and jewelry sales at the NEW Elizabeth's help fund the local activities for Parkinson patients.

COME IN AND SHOP AT THE 2019 FRANK LYMAN DESIGN TRUNK  SHOW now going on through Monday, March 4, 2019. There are over 150 styles from which to choose in sizes running from 2 to 22 and deliveries from immediate to end of April! SPECIAL PRICING FOR THIS SHOW ONLY!
