Support Groups

Andrea Dance has been our Support Group leader since its inception in 2010. More information is available on our Support Group page as to locations and times.

Dance for PD

Louise Boyd

Louise Boyd, our Dance for PD Class Instructor, leads the Dance for PD every Wednesday at 12:00 Noon, in the NWI Parkinson Building exercise room. This weekly one hour class will leave you feeling good about yourself.  No dance experience is necessary...Just have fun!

Yoga

Pat LeCompte is our wonderful licensed Yoga Instructor for the Parkinson's Yoga Class in the NWI Parkinson Building exercise room every Friday at 10:30 A.M. Join Pat and everyone for that relaxing one hour class...free of charge, of course.

Kick Boxing Classes

Lori Plesha, our Kick Boxing Instructor, shows Derek Morrison a few boxing moves. Kick Boxing classes are held every Wednesday evening at 6:30 P.M., at our NWI Parkinson Building exercise room at no charge for the participants.

Elizabeth's in Highland

Elizabeth Woodbury re-opened her boutique in July of 2017.  It is located on the 1st level behind the atrium entrance in the NWI Parkinsons Building at 2927 Jewett Avenue in Highland.  ALL of the profits from clothing and jewelry sales at the NEW Elizabeth's help fund the local activities for Parkinson patients.
